As confirmed by the latest ranking of universities by http://webometrics.info, the Nnamdi Azikiwe University has now attained a new rank in the hierarchy.
This highlights the part-success – the push for more success in the plan by the Professor Charles Esimone, to make the list of the top 200 universities/tertiary institutions in the world, a plan he called #Project200.
As at June 2022, the ranking for the University are as follows:
- World – 2988
- Africa – 53
- Nigeria – 12
This is progress when compared to the 4773, 110 and 33 ranks it held as at January 2021.
